Mar del Plata is een stad in Argentinië met 615.350 inwoners (in 2010), ongeveer vierhonderd kilometer van de hoofdstad Buenos Aires. De havenstad, gesticht in 1874, geldt onder meer vanwege de stranden als een populaire toeristische trekpleister. Mar del Plata is gelegen in partido General Pueyrredón in de provincie Buenos Aires aan de Atlantische Oceaan en wordt ook wel 'de Atlantische Parel' genoemd. 'Mardel' is the classic Argentine beach destination, and popular with people from all over the country. A little too popular, in fact. If you end up here on a summer weekend, the string of beaches that fringe the shoreline are shoulder-to-shoulder sunburned bodies: not exactly a relaxing getaway. Out-of-season visitors, however, will find that Mardel, once a glamorous seaside resort in the 1920s and 1930s, and again during a midcentury development boom, has become a large and interesting city with stunning architecture and plenty of cultural attractions that have nothing to do with the beach. Many of them are connected by attractive pedestrian thoroughfares that link to an oceanfront promenade that winds along the city's gorgeous arced coastline.

We're a young couple who is having an affair with life, nature and sunlight. We love art, classic cinema, good food, traveling & seeking adventure off the grid. One day at a time. Both living and working with an adventurous mindset, we find ourselves drawn to couples who share our free-spirited lifestyle.
